Who we are
The idea for Aligned Strategy began in a small coffee shop in our hometown. Milja had recently moved to town and suggested a catch up with Rosie. That cup of coffee turned into an excited discussion about an idea Milja had got while researching for her PhD. We both knew there and then we had to give this a shot – Aligned Strategy was born.
We are two ambitious women who share a dream about making collaborations better. We are also former colleagues who used to work at the Finnish Public Service Media Company Yle. Milja was a senior data analyst who created measurements of complex social issues, such as societal impact and customer motivations. Rosie managed the company’s content development and spearheaded strategic change management projects.
Rosie Dahlström is a strategic leader with experience in managing major change management initiatives. She’s an expert facilitator with a talent for getting people behind a shared vision. Rosie’s passionate about clear communication – ambiguous dialogue wastes both time and money. Rosies academic background is in philosophy and innovation leadership. She tailors Aligned Strategy’s services to meet the needs of every customer.
Milja von Lerber is a researcher who is passionate about make data beautiful, accessible and useful. She is working on her PhD at Aalto University. Milja’s deep knowledge in how AI can enhance strategy work in business is behind the idea for the Aligned Strategic AI tool. Milja is a professional data analyst who’s experienced in facilitating strategic discussions with the C-suite. She designs analytical tools to understand complex interactions, allowing our customers to feel confident when making hard decisions.
